okai a new painting from me!!!
I hope you enjoy this piece - i put relly a lot of time in it....
i´ve tried to make it more realistic like my past work - and i think made it (nearly)...

maybe you artists can give me more tips and tell me what i can do better at my next work

...content of this picture is a guy (not me) you dont know what he could draw hmmm like me ;)

i´ve used a photo from me only to get the position of this guy
made with photoshop and wacom....

I like the exasperated expression! Simple but works fairly well.

The main crit here is that nearly everything lacks volume. Either put more highlights and shadows, especially with the books pile.
Otherwise you managed quite well with the skin tones, the upside-down flower in its recipient and the chair texture.

Great! He looks a bit like Bruce Willis in my oppinion. :p
If i should give you some advices.. it would be to play more with light and shadows. A particular setting of light can determine the whole mood of the scene.
Secondly, I think that, since he is looking down; his eyelids should be going down too. To at least the upper part of the iris. :)

Yeah,very expressive.I think some cold shadow could add here. I think lack of tones can bring you to some individual style but in this case you should work more to define it - so it will look that you meant it for sure ^_-
